bringing hope and love to orphans in Tanzania

academic fund

When the orphans leave school their need for support does not stop. To realise their dreams, many of the children will need to go on to high school, college or university.

We have seen the difference that a college education has made in the lives of a number of our children. We want to continue to encourage the children to fulfil their potential, but the move to higher education is more expensive than our low cost Child Sponsorship Programme can support. This is because college fees are significantly higher than school fees, and attending college involves moving from the village to a town or city and renting a room. College expenses are also much higher. The VHG Academic Fund was started to allow more students to access further education.

If you would like to give to the Academic Fund. please contact us or use the standing order form.
